Bodies flying everywhere. Black eyes and busted noses. Shattered windows. These are some of the things we tend to think of when thinking about barroom brawls. Movies like “Roadhouse” come to mind right off the bat. Once upon a time, it may have actually been this way. However, in the age of lawsuits, striking everyone in punching range is not the answer. Because of this, the preferred method – if confrontation is inevitable – is grappling with the offender. Grappling, however, can be quite strenuous, so the better physical shape you are in, the better the result. When does a bouncer have to fight?
