It’s hard to eat healthy during a busy day. Often, a quick meal is usually loaded with calories, fats, and carbohydrates that you shouldn’t be eating. People who are health-conscious substitute meals with nutrition bars when they don’t have time to eat a whole meal. Gary Meyer, a fitness and nutritional consultant who runs the Elite Fitness Center in Wilmington, Mass., says that the wrong kind of nutritional bar is counterproductive because they are basically candy bars packed with protein and low-quality sugar.
This inspired Ava Bise and Anthony Flynn, mother and son, to start their own business making their own nutrition bars made with organic substances. Ten years ago, Ms. Bise began making her own nutrition bars and taught Mr. Flynn how to make them when he was 18. About two years ago, when Mr. Flynn was almost ready to graduate college with a degree in Business Administration, they decided to go into business making these bars for the public. Mr. Flynn created a website where visitors could customize and name their own bars for $40 per baker’s dozen. Youbars.com was born.
They rented a kitchen space near the Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles and now have customers all over the world, including Mr. Meyer. Ms. Bise, Mr. Flynn, and 8 employees made these custom bars for people, print nutritional information, and ship them to customers Satisfaction is guaranteed. If you do not like your You Bar for any reason, you can send them back and get replacement bars for free. If you are the type of person that cannot make decisions about what you want, the You Bar website has suggestions available. You Bars are not sold to in stores and must be ordered through the website. The bars are 100% organic and made to order however you like. If you haven’t found a nutrition bar that fits your lifestyle, try ordering your own customized bars at http://www.youbars.com/
