This article is part 3 of my series on dumbbell exercises every guy should deem worthy. Today’s exercise focuses on the forearm, a great part of the body to tone and increase grip strength.
Reverse Dumbbell Forearm Curl – Forearms Grab a pair of dumbbells, using a smaller weight than say, a pair you would curl, and let them hang at arms length in front of your body, palms facing you. Keeping your elbows positioned steady at your side, pull the dumbbells up at the same time, bringing the back of your hands up toward your shoulder. Slowly lower the weight back to the starting position and repeat. Shoot for the standard three sets of ten repetitions to start.
It’s crucial to keep your shoulders stationary throughout the move, keeping your upper arms in place. The move can also be performed alternating one arm at a time.
