This article is the final episode of my Break Out the Barbell series on exercises you can perform simply by using the barbell collecting dust in your garage. Today’s exercise focuses on the tricep.
Lying French Press – Triceps Utilizing that flat bench again, take the barbell and hold the bar overhead, palms facing up. As you lower the bar toward the top of your head, angle your arms slightly. Slowly push the bar back into starting position before repeating the move. Make sure you keep your elbows tight throughout the motion. You’ll know if you are performing the move right based on how much you can feel it in the triceps. The move is also called the skull crusher.
