If you’re like me, you get an achy neck and shoulders, particularly after a long day of multiple projects in front of the computer screen. However, paying simple attention to this can possibly help alleviate this. Proper posture keeps all parts balanced and supported.
Tip: With appropriate posture (when standing) it should be possible to draw a straight line from the earlobe, through the shoulder, hip, knee, and into the middle of the ankle.Do not slouch so that your head hangs over your neck and your shoulders rise up in a tense position. Do not slump forward with your legs so that your back is pushed low and you are over stretching to reach your keyboard. Make a point to sit up straight and occasionally stand up and walk away from your chair.
