The Summer’s Worst Foods

sausagesThe summer can be a great time. Unfortunately, it’s not always the healthiest for our bodies. Check out this slideshow from WebMD. It shows how backyard barbecues, cocktails at the pool, baseball games, and lots of fried chicken, ribs, potato salad, ice cream, hot dogs, and beer come together to make the fattiest foods we can eat. The post says, “While most people are more active during the summer, it may not be enough to burn off all the extra calories from fattening summer treats.” I completely agree. Check it out.

I would completely agree. Not only are those foods fatty, they contain high levels of trans and saturated fats, sodium and cholesterol as well as calories.
