salad I recently came across an article from About.com, which talked about the top 5 ways to ruin a healthy salad. It has been my experience that many people believe that eating a salad is actually a lot healthier than, say, a andwich, but if you do these 5 things, it seems it might not be.

The top 5 ways are:

1. Use Only Iceberg lettuce
2. Use lots of Croutons and Bacon Bits
3. Add Extra Cheese
4. Pile on the Fried and Processed Meat
5. Drench Your Salad With Dressing
